Died at her residence in Pike County Major
D. A. Allen in the 74th Year. Major Allen was for several years a Cass
resident and joined the Presbyterian Church in 1818 and an elder in 1819. One of Cassville's best citizens.

Death of Reverend Richard A Miller died at his residence in
Cartersville on teusday evening last of typhoid
fever. minister of the Presbyterian Church. Tribute of
respect from the Cartersville Lodge in November 22nd
Died 8th inst Daniel Mosteller
of typhoid fever at 56 years of age. A good man of the
Baptist church leaving a greif stricken companion and
5 children.
